New owner - Question

I recently picked up a used 07 G35x. Infiniti Dealer advertised it having the cold weather and premium package. After doing some research, turns out it doesn't have the premium package.

So I'm wondering what my options are. Don't think I can get any $$ back, but possibly negotiate some free maintenance work. Anyone have a similar situation? What would you do?

Blah... okay, so there is no cold weather package. Yeah, the X model comes standard with heated seats, mirrors, ect. Other Manufacturers call this their cold weather package. So dealer used it as a play on words.

You guys already knew that, so any useful comments would be appreciated.

Excuse me, I thought I was being helpful. Obviously you didn't, so I removed my response.
Hope you have a nice day.

I would threaten to sue. The premium package is a BIG, important add on and certainly the most common. Almost all G35s have it. It's worth a couple grand and then some. Honestly, I wouldn't trade maintanance for what you are missing!

Gonna check it tonight, but I'm pretty sure it says Premium Package. I think they just goofed on this one.

I would demand a refund equal to the cost of the premium package.

Yes, and go after them, not just for the bundled prem. pkg price (which is a great deal) but for the total individual price of each and every option you're missing. It will add up to a heck of a lot more $$$.
Premium Package:
-Sunroof
-Memory Seats, mirrors and Steering column
-Power adjustable tilt/telescoping steering column
-Homelink/Auto dimming rearview mirror (i think)
-Bose SOW sound system
-8 way power passenger seat
-Bluetooth handsfree phone system
-Power driver's seat lumbar support
-one touch auto up/down rear windows
I think thats it. I know i'm probably missing something.
My point is, individually if you add these items up its going to cost much more than the pkg deal. If you want them now you would pay for each individually right...unless!...they offer to put all this in your car for you at their own expense. I wouldn't let it go what ever you do.
Good luck

I would try to get the another vehicle with the prem. pack. if it turns out that they were incorrect on the invoice. Do you know what comes with a premium package?

Absolutely! Make them swap the car, for sure. Those features are worth far more than the package price, as has been so smartly pointed out.

You can should be able to get your money back. They sold you a car that was supposed to have the premium package and it does not. End of question.

I don't mean to sound rude, but how did you NOT notice you didn't have a sunroof?

Step 1 is to go back to the dealer and see what they have to say about it. If you want the premium package, make them take the car back. If you can live without the options, take a good size discount.
