It was all in jest, i just find it funny people purchase transmissions for the 1% of the time when they need/use the auto, and 99% of the time they wished they had a manual

I didn't buy the transmission. I bought the AWD model and the stupid AT that it came with.

I use it a fair amount, but generally not for long stretches.

I just prefer to use DS and influence that by going to manual for brief stints. Then I engage DS mode again.

I use it all the time. Wife wouldn't let me buy the Sport (6 spd MT) so this is as close as I'll get to a MT for a while...

+1 on the only choice with AWD. It is nice for the morning/afternoon commute which is usually an hour each way bumper to bumper.

On the other hand, I usually put it in DS when doing spirited driving. Its nice to have two hands on the wheel
