G35S WINS Edmunds Sport Sedan Comparison

What I find funny is that the g35s didn't even have the navigation and they picked it as the best. If they had the navi option I am sure that they would call it a tie with the benz and cadillac on the interior since they also have a hard drive. If they say this is the best transmission they have driven, I wonder how the new 7-speed in the g37 will do?

The G35 is a great car. It doesn't have to "beat" BMW to validate itself.
Therein lies the great dilemma for me. Although I love the G35S, I don't feel like I need all that power. The BMW 328i has more than sufficient power for me and better mileage. The only question for me is how much the gas mileage will improve when the new 7A comes out in a couple years.
Yes I realize that I'm nitpicking over such a minor issue of fuel economy for a 300+ HP sports sedan. But I do a ton of highway traveling so it's a major issue for me. And please, spare me the typical "if you want great mileage get a Toyota Prius or Honda Fit" come back (I currently own a 95 G20 btw...). Given the abundant power across the rev range for the VQ35HR there's no reason that at highway speed (70-80) the engine is turning at 2700-3000 RPM.

nothing we can do... people are still going to buy what they want... i just like that we all saved 10K (basically gas money for us )
To each his own...

I am not sure why they say the interior of the G is not up to par. I really have to disagree. I think other then the Cadillac's interior i think the G's is the second best in that line up. The navi is the best hands downs...the sport seats are amazing the leather is comfortable, i LOVE the white stitching on the seats and steering wheel!! the washi aluminum is soooo much better then the other type of aluminum trim on other cars. The paddle shifters are better then i think any other car, they are magnesium and nice and big. And unlike a lot of cars (335) one paddle shifts ONLY up and the other shifts ONLY down. I prefer it this way. Real race cars with paddle shifters have it set up this way as well. The back seats i think are a little cramped but have enough space to accommodate a few people. All the tech stuff in the car is SOOOO user friendly, my grandma who is 92 years old and can't speak a lick of english actually was able to use the climate control without my help at all. I could probably go on longer and longer about this topic, but over all i think the interior is amazing, and is what sold me on the car over the is350 and 335. the one thing i don't like is the rattles, but those can be fixed under warranty. Just my 2cents!

Either way, I seem to agree with the order of the ranks. I'm not sure what their problem with the G35's interior is though; I find it more appealing than some of the other interiors.
Without a doubt the C350 deserves that last spot. All the other spots are tightly contended.
