Useless mileage

Am I the only one who just drives the G for no reason except to drive. Today I just drove 5 miles to get to a store that is less than a mile away

Well, I try to find reasons to drive my G... most of the time.
Sometimes there the G is reason enough... ^^

I do around this time of year especially...open the roof and windows...and let some of that sorely missed sun shine into the G. This time is great, the few weeks I get in between rain and 100+ degree weather.

Nope, I still drive the heck out of the G. Worse yet though, I still find myself looking back over my shoulder EVERY TIME I PARK IT. Make it stop! It's just so frickin hot.

If I don't drive my G for one day, I suffer from withdrawal. Before the G, I use to dread long drives, I made a 800 mile round trip recently and once I got to my destination, I wanted to drive her again. In the approx. 5 week ownership of the car, I've racked up 2800 miles. Love the car too much to get out of the driver's seat.

Me too, I cant stop looking at her. Whoever designed the exterior of this car deserves an award of some sort. The car is just too much, its fun to drive, the drivers seat is really comfy, I could go on........

I've been babying my G and haven't drove it much the past few weeks.. I put 9000 miles in 3 months.. at that rate I would have 36,000 miles the first year and 180,000 when I pay off the car in 5 years.. = ( so i've been driving my second car (4runner) but golly geez, the G is so much nicer to drive. haha

You are definitely not alone. I just got the car a month ago, and thought it was just me because it is so new.

I also have a kink in my neck from turning around to look at it after parking it as well.

I am about to leave town for 2 weeks on a work trip, and my in-laws are flying in to help my wife with the kids. I'm really nervous for the G -- they will end up driving it around some to run errands -- they are pretty careful, but have dinged up our old minivan before.

I actually considered keeping my old car (1993 Prism) after getting the G, just so they could drive it and not my G when they fly in to help my wife while I am out of town, but we don't have the garage space
