I had the same feeling when I first let my wife take the G without me in the passenger seat. She later called me to say she was at the supermarket with our 1 year old baby and the car wouldn't start. That sucked.

Turned out I was an early victim of the faulty (and since recalled) I-Keys that got killed by a cell phone. So I ended the day being pissed and frustrated with Infiniti, and not my wife. She was even more nervous to drive it after that.

if i had a wife, she could drive whatever she wanted...her safety is more important than some scratches on a car

Yesterday, my wife asked me to leave my 2-week-old G35 at home so she could drive it. She has only driven the G once after we bought it.

I gave her an excuse (which she didn't really buy) that I have to drive the G at least until the break in period is over, to break it in properly. I also promised to her that I will let her drive it more often after she reads the owners' manual, which she continuously refuses to do.

Don't know how much longer I will be able to keep her from driving the G, so I'll have to come up with some new excuses.

i let my girlfriend drive it all the time, but she doesn't like drivivng it. i always tell her to warm up at least 30 seconds, give signals early before making any turns, look for any dents/dings before entering the car, park as far as you can from those scum of the universe and blah blah blah......

i don't know why she doesn't like driving my car.. it's a fun car...

The only solution for you may be to get your wife a G!

^+a million.

Also, for isbn1975. Maybe she doesnt like to drive it because the Gestapo is telling her what to do and when to do it. Its a wonderful car, let her have fun with it. Thats what Insurance, or as I call it, In-Case-****, is for after all.

Dont you love the way that your adrenaline can pump only from the way you drive, and what you are driving? Let her do as she pleases, especially on the way home from a nice dinner on empty roads. When you get home, you will be in for some fun my friend.

Either that, or my wifey is just the bomb...DOMO
