sorry guys, I called my friend and he cant recall the exact wiring instructions. Basically, it is all tied in to the door switch. I used Luxart LED modules for the footwells and under seats, using one module under each footwell and under each seat. The little LED in the module is very bright. I used waterproof flexible led strips for under the doors. These can be cut to any length. I think it took him about 5 hrs to install all the lighting. If I get detailed info I will definitely post, sorry about that. Hope this helps somewhat

i saw his install over the weekend...they looked pretty good. Not as bright as I would have liked them...but they create a nice ambiance in the footwell.

yea carz saw it, hes right...its definitely not a substitute for 'LED footwell lighting.' its definitely not as bright as if you were to put an aftermarket LED tube in there like a streetglow light or a plasmaglow light...its just a light ambient light that kind of makes the mats glow white at night...it matches the 2 little white lights that are next to the map lights that come on at night, its the same exact color and it just enhances the cabin in the same way...everytime i drive at night i like them more and more, but its not a sporty look at all, its a very classy ambient look that adds a touch of luxury...here are some pics but they came out terrible, the lights are brighter than they look in the pics...the little white ball is the actual light, its about the size of a small marble and the light shines towards the front of the car, not towards the seats...
