I have an 08 G35xS, it has it all including the tech package. I just joined the forum and am interested in possibly several mods.

I am also interested in contributing to the community.

The first mod would be going from 225 50 18's to 245 40 18's on the stock wheel (18x7.5). Will this work? I have had several differences of opinion.

I also am considering a "small" drop of less than an inch. But I want to solve the issue with the tires first.

I am going to try to figure out how to post pics. The car is Black/Black.

I don't think you should go over 235 for the width. I'm not so sure of the sidewall.

 

I had the 235 40 18's on my previous car and thought that the standard tires on the G 35 were too narrow and too tall for a car with a sport suspension.
