Does anyone know what warranty's if any do you void when you get a custom exhaust put on?

 

depending on the dealership...anything that didnt originally come with the car can void the warranty. Especially if they feel that the part caused the damage

 

if you really make a stink about it, and provided all you did was put a catback on


they would have a hard time proving it damaged anything, and under the law must honor the warranty

 

your exhaust will void your exhaust warranty.

 

Depends on what is broken and needs to be fixed under warranty.

If there is something wrong with lets say your alternator or something or a speaker blows out. That exhaust didn't cause those damages so they must honor the original warranty on those parts. If they try and claim the warranty is completely void on everything then put your foot down and let them know who's boss. Under that act, you can threaten to go to court against them if they don't honor the warranty since more then likely they won't be able to prove the exhaust caused those types of damages.
