Tint for IP Sedan

Tint for IP Sedan
I'm taking my G for a tint tomorrow and was wondering what color and darkness would go well with IP w/stone interior.
"California Tint" is only like 15 minutes away from my work and only costs $130 or so, I'll probably do it over there. I probably won't have too many choices with that price, but it would be good to know what I want before getting there.![Smilie](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I was reading some posts and saw Charcoal Black with 15~30% would do the job. I don't know how dark they are, so that is the problem. I don't want to go too dark but dark enough to protect the interior.
So, my questions are:
1. What color should I go with for IP G?
2. And what percentage?
3. Would it look funny to have lighter film in front side windows? (for example, 17% in the back and 30% in front?)
Give me some adivce!

1. I always say go black
2. 20% - daytime: silhouette nighttime: can't see through it
don't do 35% (waste of money)
35% - daytime: see through easy nighttime: silhouette
3. yes it does look funny, just get matching tint all around...imagine if you got 10% in the front and 35% in the back...i know no one does that, but that looks weird and so do cars with 35% front and 10% back.
window tint is usually a secondary ticket and most of the time cops don't pull you over for just window tint from my personal experience...i have received window tint tickets but only after getting pulled over for speeding violation

Since your interior is light.. if you want to go for the darker look, get around 20% or below. I have 30% all around, and for me.. it's perfect!! Not too dark nor too light. And make sure you get same shade all around because when fronts and rears don't match, it looks really tacky and cheap. BTW do you navi in your car? If you do, you should use non metallic film because supposedly metallic films can interfere w/ ur navi signals. I dunno if it's true or not.. but that's what I was told. I have WINCOS film in my car, and I love it. It blocks out heat efficiently and looks great. I know tint shop owners who choose WINCOS film over HUPEROPTIKS which is one of the best film out there.

For me I agree that 35% is not dark enough. But in Cali, its just not worth it to me. Personally, to the OP, I think 20% on IP is perfect. But you're in Cali too...so be aware...not sure how SoCal is compare to Sacramento, but I see people getting tickets a lot for tint here. Having to get the tint stripped, pay the ticket, get it retinted...just not worth imo...
