just because it's japanese doesn't mean it gets great gas mileage...

 

Staying around 60-65 usually nets me about 24-25 mpg, but moving up to about 80 drops it to about 20-21.

Averaged 21 round trip to Austin from Houston with some very spirited driving through the west hills.

1500 miles

 

Last weekend I drove 200 miles ... mostly on cruise around 75mph ... and I got 28.6 mpg. I was SHOCKED! I know the trip was slightly downhill, as on the way back I got about 24.5ish. Around the city I usually get 19ish.

I have about 7000 miles on the car.

 

i think 19mpg is reasonable for the performance we get out of our car...couldn't be happier with the MPG

 

in the city i get like 15mpg

highway i get around 22ish at 70-80

ive got 1100 miles on

 

An aggressive driver with the 6MT, I can get as low as 13.4 mpg but usually average 15 in the city, New York City. On my commute to New Jersey, with about 1/3rd highway miles, I usually get 17 mpg. On long trips upstate I get as high as 26 mpg.

I can't help being the driver I am--I drove a cab in NYC for two summers-- and I just love this car. But last month I spent $300 on gas. Grin and bear it!
