I have the same thing. Its more noticable when you first start the car or part throttle.
Both of my front doors rattle if there is any bass in the music I listen to @ low levels.

Only 400 miles on the car.

I have the reattles in my doors when listening to anything at 50% or greater volume. This is with the Bose speakers.

Other than that, I don't have any squeaks, rattles, or clunks. 08x w/5500 miles.

Agree most of the ratles come from other stuff in the compartments. I had a ratle in the center console. I had some coins in the cup holder and when i put a can of soda it wasratling crazy.

I don't have anything in the side pockets on either side. What are the odds of having blown speakers?

I have a 'tiny screw' rattle inside the 6MT shifter area when cold. When I grabbed the shifter tight, rattle stopped, at least subdued almost completely. Anyone with similar exp?

I just bought my G35x and it rattles (400 miles). The rattling seems to be coming from the back and when i turn up the music? Is it the bass?

I hear rattles from both doors in the rear, the passenger in the front, the glove box and a new one yesterday from what seems to be the trunk area-ish.

I've called the dealer and he said to drive it for another week, then bring it in and try to recreate the rattles with a tech in the car. We'll see.

This is rather unexpected on an infiniti. My 02 subaru with 96000 miles had 1 rattle that started at about 70,000.

Has anyone else with an 08 had these issues?
jason
Had rattling on my 07G35x, first it was the rearview mirror, then the drivers side window speaker, then it was something inside the car, the dealership went ahead and put insulation so I couldn't hear the rear rattling instead of fixing it.

Mine did, (10 inch Image Dynamics IDQ10v3).

But, I found the two rattle problems.

1. The plastic around the 3rd brake light. *fix: I jammed two small pieces of rubber in there.

2. The license plate holder. *fix: thin foam that sticks on like a sticker.

As far as the rest of the rattles I have (passenger seatbelt, driver's door and passenger door).....

I don't have wind noise, but my road noise seems to be due to the noisy tires they come with from the factory.

I hope that problem is fixed when I get new tires.

What'd they do, give you ear plugs??

How else do you "fix" a rattle? It's basically just two things that are too close together or loose. If it's loose, tighten it, if it's too close together, add insulation between the two pieces.

07 G35 Houston, We have a problem

Took mine in with 8K for an oil change. Told them there was a rattle in the rear shelf area. After trying to isolate it to no avail, they sent it to a body shop to remove the rear window. That wasn't it. They said a panel hadn't been welded at the factory and that they'd take care of it. That didn't work either. Now the body shop says they need to replace panels to fix it. I'm thinking they just repurchased themselves a car. Keep pushing--Infiniti's should be better than this.
