Question What's the difference between G35 Journey and the sport?

As the title says, whats the difference between the G35 Journey and Sport? I'm not sure which one I have, but it is a 5MT.

This is my car if anyone can tell me what it is exactly, cheers:

Did you buy car used?
You have sports pedals, wheels, journey bumper, seats.
I think previous owner modified it.
So you have journey from what i can see.

No I bought the car new, although here in the middle east you can't/don't order the car to spec, you just pick one with whatever options it came with. The only thing I don't have is Navi/touchscreen and blue tooth (thats what the dealer told me)
Sport pedals? I thought the sports ones were silver/chrome?
So I have a sports wheel and other than that its a Journey

Didn't think I'd fine the info needed, but thanks I'll check it out. I know how annoying it can be with a newbie asking all the same usually questions, I try to search for the answer before I post a thread, cheers

It's a journey... you can tell by the front wheels and rose wood dash.... You bought the upgraded sport wheels, and paddles were either added or come stock in the Middle East i guess

It's a Journey. And did you mean to say 5AT, not 5MT?

Yeah...those aren't sport pedals. And the sport doesn't come with the wood trim option. Odd that it came from the dealer with the paddle shifters though.

Edit: Looking at the Infiniti Middle East site, it appears that all the 5AT models have paddle shifters. Hard to tell though....not as much information as the US site.

I like those side markers also.

Looks like a journey with the tire package and paddle shifters. Also you said you don't have nav but I can see that you have the back up camera. Thats wierd how they mix and match options in other countries.

Yeah...they evidently have back up sensors too (like the toyota ones that beep to indicate distance)....at least according to the Middle East Infiniti website.

Edit: I wonder if that is a backup camera, or just a sensor for what I mentioned above. It would be odd to have both.

yeah I didn't notice the sensors in the bumpers but it also has the camera on the trunk lid. The little black square.

By upgraded sport wheels you mean the wheels them selves right? lol I know it sounds like a silly question

5 speed Automatic (as mike has pointed out)

As far as I'm aware they are functional. I'll double check tomorrow. Weird I never realized some G35s don't have the side indicators.

It is a backup camera, it also gives you a funky display when reversing like a colored in rectangle which bends and moves with the steering wheel (I think it's supposed to help you parallel park) also sensor front and back came with it .

In the US, there is a tire and wheel upgrade package, however it might be standard over there. Either way they look much better then the stock Journey wheels in my opinion.

It's odd that you would have the backup camera and the sensors, but to be honest I wouldn't mind having them. The rectangle on the backup display show the path of the vehicle (linked to the steering wheel), and has hash marks on the side to indicate distance from the car. It's actually very useful once you get used to it.

All in all, it looks like you got several upgrades that the US Journey doesn't have.
