i have a 2008 G35. i have navi and premium package.
the problem is that my windows dont go up automaticly.
only one window has the auto function. what do you think it can be?

 

i think it sounds like you need to reset them.

i believe you do the following:

with the window down, hold the close switch until the window is up + a few seconds... repeat with the other 3 windows

 

That's normally happended everytime when you had unplug the battery.
you need to reset it by

* Open the window in half
* Close the window and hold it for 4-5 seconds and that is.

Repeat it with every window that had ploblems.

I had the same problem; fixed it yesterday. Lots of threads on this.

 

This process is detailed in the owners manual - I suggest that you read it and memorize it, because you will be doing it quite often!

Nice to see some things don't change - you would figure by now Nissan would have a pretty decent power window system....

 

How do you reset the window if you install a new motor and the window still doesnt roll up with the new window motor installed?

 

The window will still go up and down without being reset.

If your power window failed and you replaced the motor and it still doesn't work you either install a bad motor or it wasn't the motor that was bad.

 

okay thanks KP. I just put up another post with the issue I am having. the motor I bought was a new one.
