Are you running the 6kk ultinon? I heard they were very respectable white, with only a hint of blue. Unfortunately every brand will vary greatly of course.

 

i have the 6000k xenons as well and upfront they will seem pure white with a little blue but from a distance it will look very bluish, a light blue-ish which is nice. i believe the 8000k's are a deep blue. cops shouldnt hassle you with those especially 6000k's, but if anything it could pass for stock. just tell the cop it came directly from the factory and you didnt touch it =)

 

I put 6000k in the day i bought the car. The 6000k in a projector is beautiful. From a distance, the crispness of white, mixed with purple and blue is truly beautiful in my opinion. I pulled up to a club one night and i was walking out, a guy walks up to me, hands me his photography card, and asks if he can take pics of my hids. I was like, sure haha. I think 6000k is the perfect blend between useable light, and that more exotic color everybody wants without attracting unwanted attention from police.
