Thinking some custom...

I really enjoy this car for the most part.

But i'm about to embark (after a 3 month hiatus from doing custom work) into some upgrades.

I'm definately going to Dynamat the entire car, I just spoke to my custom upholstery guy and he doesnt' feel that leather on the instrument pod would come out ok, so skipping that.

Already did the LED interior lights, tried the overlays...going to go with painting the inside of them instead. Hard to figure out with Liquid Platinum tho.

Looking for some custom Shark Gills or Fender vents to go behind the front wheels (similar to the new FX50). Flame suit on. Something very subtle - to break up the sheet metal just a bit. Anybody good at photo shop? Maybe just some side repeaters.

QUESTION on the drilled/slotted rotors. Who has put them on and any issues? I've done aftermarket brakes 5 times in the past, each was a nightmare. I have a zero tolerance policy for brake squeel...so your thoughts would be appreciated.

Can't figure out with to do, if anything with the front grill. Some of you guys custom painted yours and they rock, but you all have darker cars.

Just my to do list.

For a BBK you can go with the setup from the G37, it's a nice alternative to aftermarket kits and from what I have seen considerably cheaper. I think the guys from Riverside should be able to set you up with everything you need.

Did you put the overlays on your tail lights and not like them?

I'd like to see pics. I'm thinking about doing them on my car and haven't seen any liquid platinum pics yet.

drilled/slotted rotors are worthless. all you're doing is removing mass that would otherwise be helping dissipate the heat. since modern pads don't gas out anymore (to any significant degree), you're just better off going solid. g37s brake kit is ****, if not a tad overpriced for some take-offs.
