So I have been shopping around for a Black/Black G35 Sport 6MT with preferably only the premium option . I found one for $34,261, but it was sold out from under me before I pulled the trigger.

I just put my name on another Black/Black Sport 6MT that is on order. It has the following options:

PRM - [P01] PREMIUM PKG
SRF - [J01] PWR SLIDING SUNROOF
SG1 - [B95] PAINTED SPLASH GUARDS
CGO - [N93] TRUNK CARGO NET
TMA - [T93] TRUNK MAT W/LOGO
IKP - [P94] ILLUMINATED KICK PLATE

MSRP: $36,495
Invoice: $33,403
Offer: $34,390

It is on order and is arriving mid June. She said that is the absolute lowest they can do. No deposit was required, and putting my name on it just gives me first dibs on the car. What do you guys think? 6MT's are hard to come by so I think there is less room to haggle with. Let me know if I am wrong.

The sunroof comes with the premium package? I paid only ~$700 more for basically the same car but with nav (I didn't get the kick plate).

Maybe they're more expensive than 07s, but I recall my MSRP being in the $37,xxx department (can't remember if it was high 37s or low 37s).

With the auto industry where it is right now, I gotta imagine someone will let one go for invoice???

You should be able to get $500 or more below invoice.I have even heard of people getting $1000 below invoice, but that might be with incentives.
I got mine for $500 below invoice 3 weeks ago without incentives.

I say call her up and say your not interested and will wait for the 09's since they are just around the corner, and she will reduce her price.

Mention that only a price of invoice will make you commit to the car.

That should work, I wouldn't pay over invoice for this car, I pretty much paid 120 over invoice for mine in Dec. 07.

Agree on the above. Given the current state of economy, it is not that difficult to find a G35 below invoice, although your location and the number of Infinity dealers in your area will likely make a difference on the price you're able to negotiate. It also helps to time your purchase, so that it takes place at the end of the month (and preferably at the end of the quarter too), which is what I did. I paid almost $1,000 under invoice at the end of March, including some free accessories that dealer agreed to include.

Check this Negotiated Deal Thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v36-2007-08/179859-2008-infiniti-g35-sedan-negotiated-deal-thread.html , to see what others are paying (in relationship to invoice) in your area. Try to negotiate a deal with multiple dealers via email, and agree on the final price including all taxes and fees (get it in writing) before you set your foot in the delership.
