Almost hit someone - brakes on the G rule
On Friday, I was leaving my school's parking lot and heading for home. I was going 60kph (speed limit) and out of no where this gr. 11 girl that goes to my school darts across the road without looking left or right. I swear, if I was driving my mom's car that day (which I was about to) I wouldn't have been able to stop in time since the brakes are basically gone on her car. Good thing I was in the G. The brakes were amazing; I was really impressed. Damn, what if I did end up hitting that girl...what a day that would've been

This sorta happened to me. Driving on the freeway at about 65-70 mph, someone a few cars in front of me decided to come to a complete stop on the freeway and had to slam on the brakes. Came within inches to the car in front of me. I was just glad that I didn't get rear ended. Good brakes and wide tires ftw

It's my wife's car by the way, she doesn't drive anything like me either. ****ty brakes on the sport models!

I've heard that out-of-balance wheels can cause it, don't know if that's actually true.

I have the sports model also, and I'm still on my set of brakes at 35K.

Agree on the great brakes, the downside is the car driving behind you most likely has crappy brakes and will not stop in time. Everytime I have to emergency brake I am looking in my mirror and I will sometimes not use the full power of the brakes just so the guy behind me has a little more space to play with. 3 weeks go in rush hour traffic, the guy in front of me rearends the guy in front of him. I stop in time, but the chick in the mustang behind me couldnt. Long story short, had to get a new bumper.

Great brakes are a plus and a downfall. Here in New Orleans we have camera's at stop lights that will flash you if you cross the white line after a certain duration of a yellow light. If you get flashed that means you're getting a ticket in the mail. Last week it had just finished raining and the streets were good and slick. I was approaching a intersection that i knew had camera's and the light turned yellow, so i started braking. Well, as im braking i know my car brakes much better than others and i hear a screaching noise from the suv behind me that obviously was a little too close and had to apply more brake to stop in time. Its nice when the brakes save you, but can be scary for other people who may not be paying attention if they coujld come up your ***

Reminds me of my sister's 02 altima....
No abs on them, and a car pulled out in front of me, when i was going 55 mph on the sideroad of the hwy, and this ahole pulled out of best buy.
I slammed on the brakes, and within inches of him, i was able to stop, ahh... there was white smoke EVERYWHERE! ..
A cop even had pulled up both over, and gave that guy a verbal thrashing...
