It annoys me that my $300 garmin can read street names, but the wife's OEM Honda won't.

I'm presuming the G35 doesn't either, as its not mentioned on the Infiniti site and I didn't get any real hits searching here....though getting the rearview and disk drive help offset.

yes it does. The Nav in 08 is lot better than most other cars.

 

Excellent. I did see the posts talking about it was one of the highest rated OEMs.

Navi is still admittedly on my plan B or C car, but its good to know that its not just throwing money down the tubes. I'm still rationalizing sans-Navi suppliments the poor mileage.

And I did notice on the bluetooth phone support, it seemed to support more features (like contact list uploads) with navi.

 

I have to say, while I like my Garmins routes better than any other GPS I've used, the Nissan/Infiniti GPS units are fantastic. I love the map displays "birds eye" view.
