Clicking Noise Behind Dash

Clicking Noise Behind Dash
Has anyone experienced a clicking noise coming from behind the dash. The exact location seems to be behind the radio/info screen. This noise only shows up when the car is cold and when you accelerate hard. Once car is driven a couple of miles all is good. Any thoughts. It does not sound anything like engine knock. Car is 2008 Sedan and has 10000 miles.

It could be silcone bouncing around in your heater core. There's a service bulletin out there about it. My car had the problem above 5k rpm. They flushed the silicone out of the heater core..... problem solved.

We used to have RTFM and "user error" problems all the time when people would call in at my last job.

The heater core thing is at high rpms under acceleration.
When I first start my car, I hear a clicking in the dash. I assumed it's my CD changer checking for disks (I don't use CD's anymore since putting them all on my ipod).

Interesting. Thanks!
For the lazy ones: "Self-Test feature
The ABS includes electronic sensors........the computer has a built-in diagnostic feature that tests the system each time you start the engine and move the vehicle at a low speed in forward or reverse. When the self-test occurs, you may hear a "clunk" noise and/or feel a pulsation in the brake pedal......"
This doesn't sound like what they're talking about though.
"when you accelerate hard," doesn't fit into "move the vehicle at low speed."
RTFM would be easier though if TFM was a little shorter.
