guileful Dealers
guileful Dealers
Here's a funny story.
When I bought my car few months back, I was given a coupon for a free service. Last week I decided to take my car to get second service at 6500 miles (first one done at Nissan). I looked at the coupon carefully to find the fine print saying that is only valid within first 30 days on issuance.
Does anyone get there car serviced within first 30 days?
This show how artful the dealers are. Of course it’s my mistake for not going through the fine print. But I am surprised to see that dealers gull the customers for such small things

It depends how many miles you put on it. It took a bit more than 30 days for my first service. Have you called and explained it to them? I'd think for customer loyalty they'd still honor it. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt until you find out otherwise. Service is a big part of their business as are repeat customers and referrals. They'd be foolish not to honor the coupon.
That sucks man...check on your dealer's website though. My dealer always has some kind of coupons on the website. I hate the small print stuff but that's just how the corporate world tries to fling their poop on us bro. Definitely check your dealer's website though...
