Yes it was solely my fault, I was just being facetious.

Anywho, my point is that with a traditional key, this can't happen since you can't remove the key from the ignition unless the car is in park.

Someone also mentioned that the car beeps if you turn it off and the car is not in park. It also does that when you open the door, then turn the car off. My co-worker in the passenger seat had opened his door prior to me shutting off the engine so I thought the beeping was because one of the doors was open.

Sure it can .. if you have any car with a manual tranny.

WORD! You can drive off with out the Key fob. Start the car within range and drive away

I think it is a different series of beeps (like the one when you try to lock the doors and a door is open). You're right though, they're similar.

Haha is it really that hard to understand? I parked the car on an incline, never put the car in "Park" and turned it off. It began to roll backwards because it was parked on this slight incline in my parking garage.

If its in drive though, it shouldn't roll backwards though I thought, I guess an AT doesn't work the same as an MT
