Got hit from the rear
Got hit from the rear
Long story short, the G can stop quicker than an old pick-up. It held up pretty well. The damage is not too noticable (I'm pushing on the bumper in the photo to make it show more). I'm almost tempted to leave it for one reason...I hate repainted bumpers. Every one that I have gotten looks good for a few months until someone lightly bumps it resulting in spider cracks, and eventually it can even peel. I've had a slight parking lot bump and tap look worse than the original damage that was fixed. OEM bumper paint just flexes so much better.
I'd be a fool to not get it repaired though, so time to find a good body shop in MD and hope for the best.

THE DAMAGE
I've had two bumpers painted (one painted over original paint, the other new paint on a new bumper cover - G), and both held up fine?
I couldn't live with that damage, but that's just me. My buddy scratched up his Camry, and is happily driving around

I hit a coyote at 80 with the front and got hit by a crack wh#ore in the rear.
Both bumpers have now been replaced and the car is like brand spanking new.
Have a decent shop do the repairs.... you CANNOT drive around with that crack. (LOL)
