Without a doubt, 100% totaled. Focus on getting the best settlement from insurance. Do you research on book value and don't rush to accept their first offer.

I can tell that the car is total but if it was me, I would buy the car back and part it out.

Totaled from my perspective as repairing it wil cost way too much for the insurance if you plan to get it close to original(but it will never be the same...)

You only have to get to 70% of the value of the car to be totaled. From the looks of it, you're car is at or above the 70%.

Looking at the OP new signature, looks like he upgraded from the 07 to the 2008 G35xS, so Congrats bro! if thats the update. Did everything work out with the insurance? or you just have that signature in hope?

50/50 that its totalled. Open the hood and see if the engine is shifted or slighty sideways, if its not a good chance its not going to get totaled.

Totalled

Sorry for your car and glad that you are out scratch free.

I would say it'll be totalled. My 07 camry involved in an accident and the damages were way less than yours. It got totalled. I would be surprised if this was not totalled and will never consider or refer that insurance company.

Anyways GL with the proceedings. As somebody here mentioned just don't jump on the first deal given by the adjuctor. They are negotiable.

UPDATE: I found out today from my insurance company that the car is indeed totaled. Damages came out to be close to $27,000 and the auto body guy said there was some damage to the framework and axles which would make it horrible to drive even if it was to be repaired.

Well thats the bad news. The good news is that I pick up by 08 G35xS this Wednesday! I'll post pics of it as soon as I can. Thanks again for the help guys! You guys rock!

I actually had an accident last week and the damage is very similar to yours... the front is all crushed and somehow it's not totaled because it's only at 60% right now... they quote me 18k and take a month to fix it...
but the strangest thing is even though everything in the front is crushed, the airbag didn't deploy... tried to call infiniti to see what's up with that.. i could've died from the accident... (but i'm lucky that i'm scratchless)

hope the engine is still fine after they rebuild it.. they can't tell if the engine is ok or not right now.. :-( i was thinking about to total it but i'm going to get another G and not getting much in my pocket after paying off the loan... so i think i would just fix and keep it.. hope it's still fine

Let that be a lesson to us all to get gap insurance when we buy our cars.
