I research this G35 before I purchased it. It normally can do flat 14s but to get it to mid 13s is difficult. Low 13s on G35 is a myth to me :P
Yes, with 35k we can get Evo or STi which can do low 13s to flat 13s. Plus, those cars are very moddable with high performance potential. However, what you got from those are performance not luxury like our G35. So make a decision before you buy anything.

that 1/8 trap speed has to be 78... or else his car has to magically have gained about 120 horsepower...

That's because of their launch, not their power.

Their trap speeds arn't better than a G35.

Also, I doubt you'd want to abuse your car that way if you had a STI/Evo.

Why not? I abused the hell out of my 05 STI.

within 8 months of purchase I had a header, ported hot side turbo, turbo-back, utec w/ self tune, water injection, and a few other misc goodies scooting me to 12.6 @ 109

You're obviously not ABUSING it as hard as you think you are, because with a 109 trap speed, you could be running much lower times... what was your 60'?

How long were you in 5th gear on those runs? the 5th gear shift always sucked in my STI :grumbles something about 07 STIs:

I had launch control setup on my Utec and would consistently cut 1.72-1.74 with it on. If I took it off they were more inconsistent but that 12.6 was a 1.67 60'

I had a weird powerband and my traps were usually higher than my ET would have suggested. And 5th gear. Jesus...it felt like I was in that gear forever at the end of the run.

5TH GEAR AT 109!!! Holy crap! I realize that the car is designed for WRC use, but if you're in 5th forever @ 109, at what speed do you go to 5th?

My 1g awd dsm does 109 in the upper rpms of 4th ~6000-6500.

Back on topic, what about the X? I'm sure the 60' and traps are different, but what about ET?

It's been about 3 years since I had the car but if I remember right I would have to shift into 5th around 95-98 mph
