although i agree to a point.....there is a reason hummer sales are down from what they used to be.
And for the record if a drove a prius and my G the exact same way my gas mileage would definitely still increase albeit not as much as I would like . So what you drive does matter.... again to a point.
I just really dislike that experiment that topgear did because they essentially just ran a 4 cylinder engine at full power the whole time without using the electric motor while the bmw just coasted along. Obviously the results turned out the way they did.
