I'm sorry, but what you drive is just as important as what you wear and how you look. Like it or not, it is the society we live in. The sexy looks of the G35 are undeniable.

Top Gear a few weeks ago did a MPG challenge: Prius vs BMW M3. 10 laps on their test track with the Prius being driven hard and the M3 just having to keep up.
The results: Prius 17.2 / BMW M3: 19.4

I have to respectfully disagree. A car is a depreciating asset. You can work until you're 65 but drive that really cool car or be frugal and smart and retire on a beach condo when you're 50. If you can afford a BMW but drive a G35, like me, good. But if you should be driving a used honda/toyota and you're leasing a G35 and charging your gas, you're in trouble.

although i agree to a point.....there is a reason hummer sales are down from what they used to be.

And for the record if a drove a prius and my G the exact same way my gas mileage would definitely still increase albeit not as much as I would like . So what you drive does matter.... again to a point.

I just really dislike that experiment that topgear did because they essentially just ran a 4 cylinder engine at full power the whole time without using the electric motor while the bmw just coasted along. Obviously the results turned out the way they did.

I think the experiment is great. I'm actually kinda surprised the Prius lost. It does prove a point. Driving a slow car fast is worse than driving a fast car slow.
