OEM carpet floor mats suck

The OEM carpet floor mats suck. I don't think I've ever had a car with such thin flimsy mats. I have the all seasons and those are nice, but I've already nearly worn through my carpet mats.

Other than the OEM carpet floor mats, does anyone else make a nice thicker carpetted floor mat that looks good? I know I can use the all seasons, but in the summer, I like having the carpet.

i have two front sets that I swap in between. They seem to be holding up as well as any other mat (BTW I used about two can of scotchguard on them when they were new so dirt comes up very easily). Compared to Toyota mats, these are much better.

I have a different experience. My Lexus IS300's mats went 4 1/2 years before I replaced them. And I never got all season mats for my IS. So that's 4 1/2 years straight use with salt/grime and all that crap in the winter.

I've had my G since 11/06, and I've had the all seasons in for roughly 10 months of that time and I've already nearly worn through part of the mat where my heel rests.

Check out http://www.yesessentials.com/Pages/default.aspx

Their mats are of very good quality, thick and stain resistant.

my only complaint with them is mine never stays on the latch. It always pops off and starts riding up the gas pedal.

I have used the Lloyd mats in previous cars and they have been great. I am wearing out my driver side OEM mat as well (I've had my car since Feb 07).

I have the weathertech floor liners in my 08 G and love them. They're easy to clean and thy cover the whole floor so nothing gets on the carpet. Living in Florida, they're a "must have".

Yep, the floormats on the 2nd gen Sedan are quite thin......much thinner than the ones in my 1st gen Sedan. The only place that mine is showing some wear is where my heal rests, but they don't need replaced yet and I've had the car since 11/06. I plan on just buying replacement OEM mats when the time comes as I really hate the look of all weather mats.

I have the Weathertech liners also. A little expensive, but they are great!

+1 I have a divot where my heel rests, but otherwise the mats clean well, and the logo is still clean. No complaints.

Yeah, no real complaints here either. When I first picked up my G 20 months ago and felt how thin the floor mats were, I figured I'd get 6 months out of them tops. I use these mats even in the winter time and for being as thin as they are, they are holding up much better than I expected they would. I actually took some pics of my interior yesterday, so you can see they still look pretty decent.

What's that weird red paint color? Looks kinda crazy...
