I'd really like a garnet ember G but I refuse to get black leather in Houston and the stone leather does not go with the garnet at all. For 2008, you could not get wheat leather with the sport/6MT. Is that still the case for the 09's? I'd really like a garnet 6MT with wheat but I suspect I'm still SOL.

As I suspected, thanks for the confirmation. Looks like I'll be getting a lakeshore slate G so I have something that goes with the gray interior.

While I'm complaining, I also have to say that I really wish we could get the coupe's athens blue color on our sedans.

 

I wonder if they will add Umbria Twighlight from the FX 50 to the list? Or any of the G37 colours?

 

I know it doesn't answer your question, but you may want to just reconsider the black leather. After having owned a Maxima with the frost interior here in Houston, and tint galore, i was ready to go even lighter for my next car - interior and exterior.

Alas! I couldn't find any, so here i am taking a step back with the black interior. I thought i'd regret it, but the A/C on the G is "freakin'" strong, even after having the car out all day in the sun it takes no longer than 5 minutes to cool it down comfortably - i don't even have tint yet.

Plus, all the leathers are perforated, so it doesn't get as hot as the traditional set-up. Not to mention, regardless of color choice the dash/steering/shifter, basically all upper trims will still be black anyway and those are the places that could really benefit from lighter colors.

Just something to think about.
