GT-Spec FSTB

Does anyone know about this GT-Spec FSTB for the 2008 G35x? I sent then an email but hadn't heard back. I had two questions:

1) The fit of it looks extremely close to the top of the engine cover, I can't tell how much space is there, but it looks tight. Is this an issue?

2) Is there any fitament issue with this if I am also planning to install the Stillen dual hi-flow intake with the polished long arms?

Does anyone else make a FSTB for our cars? Stillen had a nice one for my Altima, but I don't see one for the G.

Thanks.

FSTB - Front Strut Tower Brace, a metal rod that links together the two strut towers under the hood to tighten up the suspension of the car.

Here's a link to the GT-Spec one: http://www.gtspec.com/index.php?nav=...id=283&cat=152

if you look on myg37.com and do a search on this strut bar, they're doing a group buy on it over there from forgedperformance.com for like $199. I don't think there is a fitment issue by itself...if there was, I don't see why they'd be selling it. Also, I don't see why the strut bar wouldn't fit on a stillen intake...the stillen intake takes up the same or less space than the stock air intake. This is also the only FSTB for sale on our cars right now

I dont think there will be any problems ppl have already test fit these on 07+G35 and G37 with zero fitment issues, and the bar is adjustable, also i have seen pics with it being installed over fujita and injen air intakes, so i dont see any issues...

I think I'm going to hold off for an un-adjustable FSTB...I heard they're more functional than the adjustable ones which are mainly for show

circuit sports, i found a link where they have it on the older G and they tend to like it and it does clear the engine cover enough to be ok.

keep your eye on this page:

http://phase2motorsports.stores.yaho...barbraces.html

and I'm wondering how much of this is true and how much is embellished:

Why didn't Infiniti include these parts from the factory? Handling, which was already impressive, is now rock-solid. Turn-in is crisper, more linear, and much more aggressive. The biggest improvement, however, is in responsiveness and feedback. The tires no longer feel "isolated", they feel connected, and the tactile impressions through the steering wheel are much more indicative of what is happening at the tire / surface interface.

I also figure if your going to spend $200 on the strut brace, you might as well follow it up with an under car brace as well.

^ its $200 for all three braces for the older G, im guessing around $250 for the newer ones, just caus its newer , and yes i agree that might a bit exagerated on the results still expect enough noticable difference, you seem to be good with google search, keep it up...
