For those of you that live in hot climate areas and need to a/c when driving
Well having to deal with temp ranging from 86-110F I usually have my AC on all the time at 66f (19c) on two bars.
If it's stuffy when I get in then I air out the car with the windows and sunroof open and then switch the ac on. But I usually don't go over 3 bars

Most of the time I'm on 72-75 and auto. Like sredish said though, after a while I can't stand it just constantly blowing hard. So sometimes I'll drop it to 64 and do 1-2 bars.
Depends.
If the car has been parked in the sun for a while, 60 and Auto.
If the car was parked indoors, 65 and Auto.
After the car gets cooled, 68 and 1 or 2 bars.
Air recirculating all the time...

In Tucson, I'm usually cruising with the temp set to 74 or 75. Right when I get in the car and it's hot I always set it in the 60s until it cools down. I usually keep the fan set to auto.
73 degrees in Auto Econ mode.
Leaving work today my car felt like a sauna, only hotter and more humid. I switched to Auto mode for a few minutes to cool things down and then went back to economy mode.
The walk to my car and that few minutes in hell was enough to soak through my shirt. Man, I hate Florida. Winter's nice though.
