For those of you that live in hot climate areas and need to a/c when driving

i honestly don't care about the number on the screen, i just adjust until it feels comfortable to me, but it usually ends up around 72 - 74. My point was, I don't like a lot of air blowing fast directly on me all the time, so I'll end up with it split between feet and head and on 1 bar, once the cabin is cooled.

I usually open the driver/passenger windows as I start running the AC on auto for the first minute (thus mitigating the fan-in-a-sauna effect of a warm air blasting at me in an already hot car). As it starts blowing cool air I close the windows and set it at 70 (head vent only). As I reach a comfortable temp I usually switch to 72 (two bars) both head and feet vent mode.

I am always amazed about how many people dont use the Auto mode. It works really well in this car actually. I don't think I have ever taken it out of auto mode.
I usually have it set at 72 or 70. In the morning when it is using a bit of heat these days, I like 70 (72 a bit too warm). In the afternoon when it is much warmer, 72 is always perfect.
I also don't understand why people put it from 65 in Auto mode "until the car cools off" then set it to 72. Just leave it at 72. The car won't cool any quicker by setting it lower
