Dumb question on 0.9% financing special

So the 0.9% financing says it ENDS 9/2/08, does that mean it is still good on 9/2/08 or that it is now too late? Being the procrastinator I am, I wait until last minute....

Yeah I know, been going back and forth all weekend on whether to keep my 08 Type-S TL or get a G35, leaning G right now.

I'm not big on wasting money, you should keep your car for that reason alone, but the G is a much better looking car in my estimation and thats reason enough to own one. I'd never have even looked at an Acura TL, but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong .

Not really wasting money, the little I will loose will be made up for in the 0.9% interest vs. the 5% I'm paying now. I do love my Type-S, but the G35 is one sexy car.

damn but trading in an 08 car already is pretty painful, considering just the depreciation hit you'll take but...the heart wants what the heat wants

Not really that bad, they have been giving TLs away for over $2500 under invoice for the past 6 months. I only paid like $33K for my Type-S

Don't worry about it...

I wouldn't worry about the 0.9% thing. Honestly, I could be wrong but most of the dealerships aren't getting the '09 G37 Sedans on their lots until October anyway so I'd suspect that Infiniti will extend the 0.9% or increase the offer with a beefed up incentive in the form of a rebate or increase the dealer cash. They could pull it all together but they generally only do that if their numbers are good and from what I've seen, they're not that good still so they'd want to move cars.

Yeah I am gonna gamble, I am going to see what tomorrow brings, both dealers still have the car I want so they will both call me in AM with the September incentives. There was a $1K rebate and 0.9% so if they hold that I may jump, I'm hoping maybe they either do 0% like the EX or maybe go to $2K on the rebate. If I loose then I stick with my Type-S, if the incentive increase then I'm close to a break even with my Type-S then and will pull the trigger!!

The 0.9% as I suspected has been extended until 30 September. I'm not sure what $1K rebate you're talking about...they were doing $2K dealer cash but no rebate unless you were a previous infiniti owner then you can get $500loyalty cash on a lease or $1k loyalty cash on a purchase.

The $2k dealer cash looks like it's gone according to Edmunds but even if it is...you should still be paying invoice or less for the car since they're outgoing models and the mid-cycle refresh of the G is coming out in a month and the market still sucks for car dealers.

The $1 k he was talking about was a conquest bonus that infiniti was offering. Edmunds never showed that on their site nor infiniti...so it may still be running.

The conquest cash I think is ONLY if you finance with IFS right? As to the 0.9%...it has been extended as I said earlier until 30 September. Just look on Infiniti's website. Tell your dealer they're wrong.
