I'm sort of paying for it. I'm 21 years old and I'm a 3rd year student at Rutgers Pharmacy and also a Officer Candidate for the NJ Army National Guard.

I pay nothing for tuition and I commute to school so my education is entirely free through the NJ Guard Tuition Waiver program. I'm also saving my family a TON of money through USAA insurance. On top of that I also have drill pay, active duty training pay, and bonuses. If I finish pharmacy I'm even less worried about paying this car back.

I'm going to be looking to purchase an 08 G35 6MT soon in the next 2 months. My dad originally offered to pay for it but looking at the fact that I pay nearly nothing for tuition and also if the 0% interest Stafford educational loans I felt I would have no problem affording the car. And I also might switch into the Army Reserves 4-6 years down the roadbecause of their ridiculous healthcare loan repayment incentive, accession bonus, and much faster promotion rates than the National Guard (Medical Services Corps).

The military discount doesn't work well.

I wonder how could other people are paying less than $200/month while they are even at younger age?

You're on USAA? If you are....

How are you paying more than me when I'm younger and have a worse driving record than you? I live in NJ which supposedly has the highest auto insurance of any other state...

Doesn't make sense...

this isnt a good comparison. the car and your driving record and where your located are all what makes your insurance rates. and most imporantly the amount of coverage. i pay 4 grand a year and in full. with 1000 deductibles.

so someone saying i have a good driving record and what your paying per month as opposed the the post before you isnt a comparison because of the amount of coverage you may have and most importantly what state you live in has different limits. just couple pennies of thought.

250/500/100 Deductable is $500. Coverage from Progressive on a 2007 Nissan Quest SE and a 2007 G35s costs me $1200 yearly. My wife has 2 points for running a stop sign. 1 Not at fault accident where my 2k2 Maxima was totalled. Lastly I made a claim when a rock hit my G's sunroof and they had to repaint the roof, trunk and quarter panel as well as replace the sunroof.

O.K.
So I'd figure I'd post my new rates, as I did switch from Allstate to Nationwide.
New rate on the 08 G

$70 per month 100/300/100 and $500 deductible. Old rate was $113.

New rate on the Dodge Ram
$110 per month for same limits, old rate was $210.

I saved quite a bit of money by doing this.

I'm paying about $55 a month (333.30 every 6 months) for a 2008xS with American Family.
This is for full coverage (100/300/100) with a $500 deductable. I am 33, married with a multi car/home policy discount, but also have a speeding ticket.
