How to check for AWD and VDC?
#16
You would have rwd after 12mph aka 19 kph(metric) no matter what. Snow mode or not. If you turn the VDC off it is just not cutting power from spinning wheels. As Aeson says Hell got loose and it just go no matter what. Awd kicks in if needed. You don't see that big different VDC off/on then you feel on the G w/o X. Due to the AWD the car lot more stable.
In normal condition you start up 25/75 split. Front/rear. Than it goes 12mph to RWD 100%. Snow mode locked to 50/50 till 12 mph. Than it goes RWD. That's what makes a good start at the light when it is ice as hell(of course on snow tires )
BTW non of the Europian compatitors of the G was able to do this till now. The Audi A4 quattro can transfer up to 50% of the power to RWD; the Mercedes-Benz C up to 60%; and the BMW up to 62 or 65% I believe. Not many people aware of the class leading technology. That's why people don't like X. If they knew....
Our Attesa is the closest feeling to the RWD. I know I know I am biased.
