d2s hids

guys just a question besides 50watt hid kits to replace our d2s hid bulbs which companys make the best ones?and also do any of you guys no the lumen output for oracle 6k hids compared to say other hids? i have xetronic hids in my g35 now but their 8k and when it rains the lights are just too blue to see on the road when the road is wet so would there be a big difference from 8k to 6k?

see i know about those but the thing is xetronic claims that my 8k d2s bulbs are 3200 lumens. if you look those ultionons are 2400. arent lumens how bright hte light is? unless im understanding differently if i was to get those it would be a downgrade>

I plan on getting the Apexcone HID bulbs. The website says their bulbs put out 3200-3400 lumens for the 35w kit (that's with their ballasts tho. Not sure if that'll make a difference). The 55w kit claims 5000 lumens.

I can tell you from personal experience that the 8000k bulbs are plenty bright. I had the 35w kit on my Mazda 6. They also come with a lifetime warranty and can be had for a STEAL. http://www.therpmstore.com/product_i...roducts_id=177

This guy is the most popular sponsor on the Madza 6 boards, and his customer service is second to none. I know the site is a Mazda 6 site, but a D2S bulb is a D2S bulb and like I said the customer service is great.

6000k, 8000k etc are just the color of the bulb. Lumens is the brightness and projectile of the light. OEM bulbs are 4300k which have no tint coating on the bulbs, so light will project farthest. The 6000k or 8000k have a light blue tint coat on the blubs, so the light projection will decrease. But will yeild a bluish looks.
