Maybe the were not "fixed" correctly and are still not running true? Maybe it's just a tire balance problem.

Are the rims stock or aftermarket? How did you bend them? May have bent a control arm as well. Depending on how far out of spec they were, most rim repairs are not 100%. Where is the speed limit 100+

some tires aren't rated above certain MPH b/c they aren't stable, your wheels may need re-balancing, or maybe the "fix" isn't a good fix

First you look for knock-off rims, and then you had to get rims fixed.

Buy quality, and you won't have as many, if any problems.

And don't go that fast. I don't want to get rear ended AGAIN, not to mention, you will LOSE YOUR LICENSE if you get pulled over at those speeds.

I didn't mean to turn this into a thread, but the point is still the same.

I used to do driveshaft work and although the machine allowed for me to test and balance up to speeds of 250 mph, I hated doing so. If anything ever went wrong at that speed, the machine and/or shaft would have killed me for sure.
For that reason, I used to balance up to speeds of about 85. That kept things safe and allowed for the shaft to be balanced at speeds allowed in any of the 50 states.
I also did some Winston Cup work, but those guys paid top dollar to be sure stuff was done right.
For the average Joe, there was no reason to test any higher.

You can go back and have the work done again, but I'd come up with some reason as to why you need to be vibration free at speeds over 100, because they are likely to ask.

dude... this is SIMPLE. Just changed the Rims huh? Did you happen to get some hubcentric rings for those wheels? I'm betting no. The reason there is a vibration is that your wheels are not 100% centered. The fast you go the worse it gets. Can any wheel place and order the rings for your rim.

It still amazes me that shops dont recommend them when changing your wheels. Have them double check the balance too while they have the wheels off.

You'll be all set.
