My oil changes were like $45 for the durablend oil for my '05 G. I haven't taken in the '08 yet but I can't imagine it'd be much different.

help

I also have experienced this very same problem.. I am maybe up to 7k miles.. I called my Infiniti Dealership to make an appointment to get an oil change and was told that it was going to be 99 bucks for a service.. should I be getting it serviced or should I just be getting an oil change? I have had it a yr and I travel so much with my job until I haven't put that many miles on it. Just wanna check and see what I should do! Thanks guy's..

Btw, I have the G-35 Sport

I just changed my own oil for the 6th Time at 22500. Cost me $30 for castrol 5w30 Synthetic. I changed my own cabin air filters (the original equipment ones are like cheap paper and useless) for $10 for really great quality filters from Walmart. I can inspect everything myself that needs inspecting and top off any fluids like windshield wipers and anti-freeze. The dealers are a rip off and they usually screww something up. They destroyed my daughters undercarriage protection pan when she had her G35S in for a problem. If you are a little handy you can do most maintenance yourself and it won't affect your warranty in the slightest. The dealers scare people into their way over priced services.

The 7,500 mile service is just an oil change, visual inspection and topping off the fluids since they can't rotate your tires. If you're going to the dealer for service, tell them you only want an oil change. Otherwise, go to an independent shop that will include a free visual inspection with your oil change.

There is a place in Springfield, VA many G35drivers go to for their service. Its the only place that touchs my Car from now on unless I have a warranty problem. PM me if you need the info.

Had the following done there so far:
- Had my rear camber kit installed
- Car aligned
- Grounding Kit Installed (I know Im lazy, didnt cost to much as it only took 10 minutes)
- dismount my 19" M45 tires from wheels to send to get powder coated.

Will be getting my oil changed, both filters replaced (cabin and air), and all fluids (Differential, Transfer Case, Transmission) replaced when needed by them.
