Mines been fine for 16 months now. Just remember not to put the rear defroster on for the first couple days.

Had mine on for couple months, no problem.

Though if your front two windows get squeaky from water/rain when you roll it up/down, and you bring in to dealer to get it lubed...They will try to pull some bs thing about how the tint hurt the motor. I guess it's just "too" heavy for it to operate properly. But in any case, just tell them that's ridiculous, worked for me.

P.S. Back window supposedly is a major pain in the butt to tint, very low clearance. The guy who tinted mine (I was his first new G) actually raised the price for ones after me b/c it was harder than anticipated.

no problems here...if you go to any reputable installer that uses quality products, you should not have to worry about it peeling off.

tint %
This may be a dumb question, but are there only certain intervals of tint % available? Most people have either 35% or 20%. Can you get 30%? (I'm having mine done tomorrow, and am leaning towards 35% all around)

IIRC it depends on the manufacturer; I used SolarGard on my last car, and they did 18% on the back window, and 32% on the sides.

In the G I used 3M (I think), and did the same % all the way around (35%, I think?)
