If you're going to replace the windshield anyways, why not call the glass people and have them replace at your residence, im pretty sure they can do it and then you can unlock your car while the old windsheild is off, no extar expenditure... what do you guys think? iv never seen a windsheild being replaced but by guess is its totally outside project with no access to cabin needed... am i right?

That sucks. I say, fix the car and then, find a better place to live.

The glass guy needs to get inside the car so he can cleanly cut the adhesive. This is cut from both the outside and inside before the glass can be removed. I bet they'll want nothing to do with breaking into the car as they won't risk causing damage.

WOW...yeah...not sure how you get in.

i did this mod...but i left the lock cylinder in there for such an emergency.

YEA ME!

jsut bust a hole in the broken window, then you shouldnt have to pay as much for the guy to take it out??!

I wonder if the glass would melt or cut easily
