Used Rim/tire package need re-balancing?

I recently purchased a used winter set-up with rims and rubber that was purchased in 2005 and used on an '05 G35 Sedan. All tires have balancing weights on the interior of the rim and I plan on installing them myself once the snow begins to fall.

Question: Since each rim/tire is balanced based on the rotation with each other (therefore, independent from the vehicle it is installed on), is there no need to get them re-balanced OR is it recommended to get them balanced again before installing them on my car?

Any insight is appreciated!

I think it's up to you. Some people get their setup balanced ever few 1000 miles. It is just not worth the time for me. Winter tires probably are useable for 12k miles. I usually do not rebalance them at all during that time. Of course, if you feel vibration at a given range, it may be worth it.

The fact that you're installing them on a new car should not cause you to need them rebalanced; as you say, the wheels and tires are balanced independently of the car.
