Seat Memory and Intelligent Key Syncing: How Many Settings?

How many different seat memory settings can one have, if synched with 2 keys?

I was thinking it would be at least 4. 2 settings per key, but I have only been able to get 2 different settings instead of 4.

I was hoping to have setting 1 as my driving position and setting 2 as my "exit" setting (I have a 6MT, so this setting would move the seat back and bring up the steering wheel) synched with my key, and then my wife could have her own driving position stored for setting 1 when using her key. I assume that's not possible?

Thanks!

Pretty sure there are two possible memory settings (1 & 2), and one iKey is synched to each. Do the 6MTs not have the "lift wheel on exit" option?

The 6MT does not have the option since it doesn't know when the car is "parked".

So do you think each key can have their own settings and I can ultimately do what I want?

Er...no, I think that you can set memory seat 1 to one setting, and link one iKey to it. Then ditto for memory seat 2.

So, you can have one setting for one iKey.

That's what I thought. However, can't you store the settings to 1 and 2 without syncing to the key? I guess I'm struggling with the purpose of syncing to a key.

^ the only reason to synch to a key is when there are two drivers.
When you unlock it'll go to your setting (1 or 2) w/o pushing the 1/2 button on the door after entry.

... I don't use the feature myself, because no one else sits in the pilot seat but me.

You do it as you would set your seat for the memory thing... and just press the "Unlock" button on your fob when the light for the memory button lights up.

So it's like this.
- Press Set
- Press 1 or 2
- Press Unlock (while the light on the memory button is still lit)
- Profit

infiniti screwed up on this because when u shut off the car, u can assume that its "parked".

this should be a 6mt feature as well.

I agree. Or car off + parking brake engaged. Oh well.
