Wheel Executives poor customer sat

Hey all,

I'm fairly new to the G scene but not to customer satisfaction. Last week I bought a set of Sevas S-55 wheels for my '07 sedan from Wheel Executives. I called them up, they processed my order and shipped out very promptly... no issues YET... The wheels arrive and look pretty good; however I didnt want full chrome for my ride. So, I call a local shop & good friend that does powder coating, he comes and checks out the wheels we decide on a black chrome finish for the spokes and choose to leave the lips chrome. He takes the wheels preps them for the PC process. In the process he uses blue painters tape to mask off the lips so the PC doesnt adhere to the chrome. before he finishes the process the tape is removed and the wheels are baked. When he removes the tape the chrome sticks and is removed from the wheel. OUCH.... Now I know Sevas arent the highest of the high end but they are a decent wheel. So I call Wheel Execs up and leave Vm after VM after VM. No reply, my buddy and I email them asking what is the process for warrantee or partial reimbursment to get the one wheel with issues re-chromed. NO REPLY. I guess the moral of my story thus far is dont trust Wheel Execs. They were quick to help me buy wheels and take my $$$ but not willing to even reply to my calls and emails. Very poor service. I dont want a refund I just want to work out something for us both. Does this seem odd to anyone else? Have any of you had trouble with Wheel Executives? Please advise. Thanks for listening to my B*tch fest....

Wow sorry to hear that. I don't know what you can do since it is not in the original condition. Hope it works out well for you. But it seems to be the opposite.

In response to this thread, I (the owner) have not received any e-mails regarding this situation. I received (1) phone call from the Vendor (Tommy Motorsports) that we sold the wheels to however the message did not state what the problem was. My partner called back (2) times with no response back. All calls come through me so you might be calling the wrong phone number if you claim you have called multiple times and possibly sending emails to the wrong e-mail address because we have not received a single one.

We have sold many sets to satisfied customers on this forum.

In addition to that, all warranty claims are filed direct with the manufacturer. However, once you have modified the original finish with powdercoating, I do not believe that the warranty is still honored. I would try contacting Sevas direct at: 305-971-6517 and ask for Scott or Karl.

I bought a set from Wheel executives also, but they handled my problem pretty quickly.... So i wouldn't go and say they have poor customer service off my own experience. But after putting the wheels on my car, i'm starting to feel 20" is too small, and i'm currently looking for 22''s

It sucks that the chrome peeled off, but you're S.O.L. The wheels have been modified.
