I renewed at $77/yr today (billed quarterly) and the rep was pretty clueless about many things, so I didn't get any new information. As of today all the channels are familiar, maybe everything will change tomorrow? We'll see.....

Just wanted to say that I was called 2 days ago by XM and the person said that there is no ZWinBack code and they cant do $77 a year.
I just called them right now and the first operator said $77 for the first year is fine with the ZWinBack code. She also let me know that on the 366th day my credit card on file will be automatically charged for a quarterly price of $38 unless I call and cancel.

Thanks to this forum for saving me money. I just called XM to extend my 3-month trial and asked for the $77 deal...and no problem. I also got a credit of $12.95 for putting it on a credit card. That's only a little over $5 a month which isn't too bad. Plus, you can listen to XM online for free. Just remember that you will be charged $12.95 per month at the end of the year contract unless you call and cancel...or haggle with them again.

ps - i plan to keep the car beyond 4 years, so i sucked it up and got the $399 XM for life of the radio deal. They pro-rated me the amount left in my $77 deal towards the $399. Now i never have to worry about what happens when the year is up and it jumping back up to $142/year. Did NOT do the best of sirius for $499 since i dont listen to those extra 5 stations or Stern. Also, they would NOT throw traffic nav in the deal. That would still be a montly charge so i passed on that as well.
If someone gets navtraffic with teh $399 deal, I'd love to hear about it.
