Wheel Luster

You can try cleaning them and then hitting them with a cleaner wax or wheel polish. I had the sport wheels on my car for nearly a year and I didn't experience any decrease in shine. I kept them clean and polished though. You may want to give this a shot.

Without proper cleaning and protection they will appear to lose the luster...but put some work into them and it will come right back.

Personally I wash like normal at ever wash, and every once in a while when they are super dirty will use a wheel wash. The key is sealing them though, I use Wheel Sealant, as this protects them and makes washing easier next time.
