I have never seen equal residuals for 24 months and 36 months until now. "I pity the fool" who does a 24 month lease with those numbers!
In Canada the residual is down to about 30% of original MSRP and the lease rate (for a 4 year lease) is 6.09%.

Dealers in ATL seem to have dozens and dozens of 08's left, guess it may be a few more weeks before the 09 is out.

^^^Actually, I just got this e-mail from a dealer in Atlanta:
"We will actually have a couple of G37 sedans later this week supposedly."

According to infinitinews.com, the cars are on sale on 11/5, so you have to figure that the dealers should have some by then. After all, you can't sell what you don't have!

Well, Nalley Infiniti in Marietta has 51 G35's left and Nalley in Decatur has 73 of them. When I asked why they had so many, the sales guy said that they took more of them on so that they could get a better selection of G37 Sedans. If your pal can't get a good deal on those, he's a really bad negotiator.

Exactly, those arew the 2 dealers I have been watching closely. Even Infiniti in Gwinett has a bunch. Decatur is offering real sweet deal to me right now, but I'm torn on holding out for a G37, sure it will be a few $K more, but it will be an 09 G37 vs, a year old G35. I'm also hoping to learn more if any navi or other things were updated.

Well crap, I just got this email from them.

The new 2009 G37 coupe and sedan release date will be delayed until after the 1st of the year; However, we are expected to receive one '09 G37 sedan and one '09 G37 coupe in November for viewing and test driving.

Act now and grab a remaining 2008 G before the selection is gone. With discounts up to $7000 off on '08 G's or financing as low as 0.9% there is no better time to get a deal then right now.

Go to Nalley Decatur and ask for Daryl Ferguson tell him I referred you, won't make a difference, but he'll know I have been dragging my *** and he has been real good. They offering me car at invoice less $4K and were throwing extra $2K toward my trade. Otherwise Chris Vineyard at Nalley Marietta, but he is not good at returning calls, you'll need to go there and corner him. While I love Roswell's service their sales is mediocore at best, never great deals. Gwinnett is probably in the middle.

All I know is my dealer in Canada received about 20 of each and is selling them. All that's left up in Canada is the odd demo. Almost all the 08 Sedans are sold.

I have to think that you meant 06 instead of 07. I have an 07, that i purchased on October 24th (birthday coming up) last year to take advantage of the deals to move them when the 08s came to the lots. I am personally glad that i didnt wait for an 08. First things first, the voice commands are dramatically worse on the 08's. Next, I think that the single overhead map led (on the 08, not the 07) looks cheap. Why not just leave the two, there couldnt have been much of a cost savings at all, while making the overhead asymetrical---looks odd when you see one and then the other. Also, the only thing i would have considered would have been an XS, which wasnt available on the 07's, but the seats are uncomfortable for me, and i personally hate the sport wheels compared to the X split 5stars.

If you didnt make a mistake here, why would you say that lots of (07 in particular) owners wish they wouldve waited a year? Just curious why i should have waited in your opinion.

Not to mention front grill flaking, leaky seals, and several other first year issues.

Just heard from one of my local dealers and they told me they should be getting the '09s in any time. They are going to get back with me tomorrow about specific availability.

I'll keep you in the loop.
