FACT OR FICTION: Mileage
#16
Yes - My avg mileage dropped from about 24 to 22 with no change in driving habits, as it does every year. This means the winter formulation is now to the rescue and guess what - you have no f&^kin choice. Seems like it hit the market about a month before it did last year. The falling oil prices and rising inventory in oil supply probably caused this this to hit the market earlier than usual. This obviously means bigger profits for the greedy robber barons at ExxonMobil etc. and their buddies GWB jr. and his Prince Saud/OPEC. They legally sabotage your gas mileage to the tune of an effective 10% to 15% mark-up, which equates to more money for them. But dont fret, your mileage will miraculously increase in March (or maybe May this time). Just my opinion.

i just got 29.5mpg (hand calculated, the onboard computer was peaked out on 30, so I think it was thinking i was getting 30+) on a 215 mile drive, 30ish of those miles were in the city going through downtown dallas traffic, a few high rev passes, and a pit stop with a 10 - 75mph acceleration. when i got to my destination, the computer said i had i could still go around 350 till empty. i've never got that good of milage on that trip, and yes, it was cold out (50s or less)

Can you snap a picture with the bargraphs on it? I never seen those numbers. If that is what you are getting that ispretty cool. I just want to see that. If you wouldn't mind to snap a picture with your last 10 average that would be great.
