I thought this was the grille only available to the 09s? I think i saw youguys write in another forum that the size is a bit wider than the 07 and 08s I could be wrong tho...more like,,,i hope i am wrong. I want that grill for my IP!!

 

I do believe the grill won't work on the older cars. The part numbers for the front bumper are different on the 09's compared to the 07/08 cars.

 

Ha! So it wasn't just me. I could have sworn they left the top and bottom chrome and kept the rest of it black on the pics that were shown. Oh well, looks like a DIY black out grille for me.

 

^hey mike the number might be different due to the different name and style and color maybe because think about it. When i started going onto these japanese forums most of the 350GT's (aKa 07+ 2nd gen g35 sedan) have these grilles on them already. They arent G37s and i doubt their bumper is different than ours.
the pic of the IP sedan in Japan that i posted up with the midnight grille is everywhere now and its a G35 sedan lol
so i dont see why it wouldnt work. Infiniti didnt mention anythin about changin body structure. We just have to wait and see but i say its goin to fit perfectly.

 

^+1 i talked to a good forum friend of mine last week, who lives in japan and has the 2007 250GT, and he said that he bought the grill and it was a direct replacment without any problems and he will be getting the front lip this week sometime as well, ill post pics once he sends them to me.

So, unless japanese models have the different part #'s on the 07/08 i dont see why these wont fit, once again not undermining Mike, and appreciate him looking up the differnece for us but i think we'll be ok...

I would imagine emblems can be swapped?
