Does anyone know if the Sansa MP3 players would work with the Ipod interface in the X? Buying the Sansa costs a 1/3 of the Ipod and i heard it's probably better too. But since there's no USB available, i was wondering if there's any way to adapt Sansa to the Ipod interface. Thanks.

 

I bought a used 20gig ipod on ebay with extended 2 year warranty for 60 bux on ebay. I dont think the ipod cable will connect to the sansa. I have a sansa mp3 player i use for the gym and the connectors are not the same size.

 

i have a sansa 8 gb player and no it does not. but you can use the aux inputs/outputs and it will work but you cant control it through the scren it will just play whta you play on the screen

 

Can you tell me how you use the aux inputs/outputs to make it work with the Sansa? Thanks.

 

something like this would work...of course there are nicer ones, but it would do the trick for any audio device with a headphone jack:
