Is anyone hearing rear axle click when you starting to drive away?

I get some kind of click noise from my rear section of the car (not sure if it is axle or not) and it only happens when I am completely stopped and just starting to drive away.

For instance, I'm in D (for AT) with my foot on the brake pedal. As soon as I let go of brake and apply gas to my car, I'll hear the click ONCE. It doesn't happen if I drive away VERY slowly, but if I apply gas as I normally would, I'd hear it.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Have to taken the car to dealership to get it fixed? What were the problems and the outcome?

I'd appreciate some inputs.

going in next week... They said it was exhaust the first time I went in. So I went to FI and put it on the lift and NOTHING was touching so going in again. I think it's something on the door hitting the glass. I'm having them check my windows, window motor, and under carrage

Which dealership will you bring your car to?

OP: you sure it isn't just the brake caliper letting go? i don't mean failing, i mean, quite literally, releasing a little

Alan, didn't it start after u got the GT30's? Probably weird coincidence.

Possibly brake knockback? I've known the brakes to stick slightly sometimes.

Tustin Infiniti really blows.

I purchased my car from Costa Mesa Infiniti which closed down.
So I had to start taking my car to Tustin for service.
I swear their staff are so unfriendly and snobby.

Last time I took my car in for an oil change and to have some rattles looked at, I specifically told em NOT to wash my car.. and guess what... YUP sure enough.. they stuck it through their damn car wash.. I was so pissed.. and started complaining at the girl who helped me out.. and she just brushed it off like it was nothing.. at least be apologetic when you make a mistake. They also ordered me a new driver side air bag for warranty work which was supposed to take 7-10 business days.. it's been over 2 wks and I'm still waiting on my part.

I am done w/ Tustin.
My alternatives are Mission Viejo or Cerritos Infiniti.

Anyone know good dealers in OC?

Excuse me for being off the topic BLUESLATE.

never had problems with them.. I'm the same way, I don't get the car washed. Melissa is my SA and has been good to me. Cerritos service manager is AWESOME, but their SA's suck!

Wouldnt it be nice to have dealer choices...

We have 2 dealers in MN. Lupient Infiniti of Golden Valley, and Luther Infiniti of Bloomington.

I go to Luther because Lupient just sucks. The entire dealer and service area.

Luther has been good to us except the one SA who was recently fired.

I had the clicking noise on the rear end of my 04 like a year after I got it, took it to the dealer the opened the rear end and grease it up. Noise went away, they said there was a bulletin for it. Don't know if your car is the same.
