Impul Headers

I just got an e-mail from Impul America today about their headers...I don't understand this e-mail because g35robby has impul headers installed on his car and he got those headers from japan for RHD...oh, and i sent this e-mail to IMPUL about 2 months ago lol

Re; V36 Exhaust manifold, the current IMPUL model is compatible with right hand drive models, LHD model is under development.

Best Regards,

Thank you for your interest in IMPUL performance parts,

Very interesting, but their email does not make sense at all as the engine is the same as well as the positioning of mounts(i presume), but Robby should be able to help us out here a bit...

^^, well i think what the impul representative is referring is the steering column placement...this was the issue that prevented us 2nd gen sedan owners from being able to use the Stillen Headers that are available for the G37 and 350Z-HR...

i'm just confused since g35robby has them on his car...i wonder if the people that installed the headers for him modified something so they would fit...or if they just fit perfectly without modification....

^ahhh that does make a lot more sense, but then as you said it begs to question, how did Robby get his to fit?? and maybe if he pushes the car to near limits he might have problems of the rack hitting the headers like the 350Z HR motors had with the Stillen...

Robby is here to the rescue lmao
hey guys, these headers are indeed made for my car but only on one occasion and thats a company in Japan called GT-Lab to fabricate them on one of their G's. My headers were originally meant for a G37, which is already out.
But since my steering column was in the way GT-Lab had to fabricate them.
Thats why my welds are really thick on my headers
I herd they were already out but since the G37 headers were the only ones my friend Wyn could find...i jumped on it.
To clear the confusion about headers for G37s, they will not fit on 2nd gen G35 sedans due to the steering column
