planning on picking up a G35 this week...

I am just wondering, does the '08 G35 have an option for 9gb hard drive like the g37, or is that a new option for '09?

If you're talking about the Music Box, yes the '08 has it included in the Navi package.

Just FYI, if/when you get the G35 with the built in HD, remember to burn your CD's with song titles, artist info, and playlist name into them.

Otherwise once you start getting a lot of songs ripped to the HD, it'll be impossible to filter and very difficult to find a specific song or you'll have to manually input the song information, artist info, and playlist name...massive PITA.

iTunes has the option to burn that information when you burn a CD, the default however, is set to burn without the extra info.

Also keep in mind that the only way you can upload songs to the harddrive is via a CD...hence my suggestion. You CANNOT do it via iPod or flash card (although you can play songs directly from the iPod or flash card, you can also transfer songs TO a flash card but not FROM).
